For anyone out there that has come across this novel, perhaps you can lend me a hand. I had to read this book for my literature class, and I really enjoyed reading the book; it's a very interesting and philosophical story. So now that I have the essay on it due in a week, I have been assinged the following theme to write it on: How does the contrast between the two Mr.Kumar's reflect the theme of "faith" in the novel?
I also have to consider the binaries as well: reason vs imagination, science vs religion, materialism vs idealism, and fact vs fiction.
If anyone at all can help me by providing ideas or even links to other sources of information that can generate ideas related to the theme, I would be really grateful. Again, any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Quote by RavenPotter91That game is soooooooo cool, the final fantasy series never dies. I'm where i have to take basch somewhere, in the middle part maybe, and i love it to death! Very addicting, it's rare for me to be MTing even now...

Yes, that is true--it is very addicting. I honestly can't wait for FFXIII for PS3! XD

f

I really can't wait to see what the second season has in store! And i know once the second season finishes, I will be complaining for a third season lol.

f

Quote by kawaiiakanboThis game takes forever to level up, but i'm not complaining. I can't just put it down. I shoudl be studying for a midterm but my fingers are just inching their way slowly back to my PS2. hahaha I think the ps3 will have to take a back seat until i finish FFXII (whenever that will be).

All I can say is... extremely addicted

Thats exactly whats happening with me! I have a mid-term...but this is game is truly addicting, I have trouble just turning off the PS2 lol.

Quote by Jerriosim almost 36 hours into the game (we're going to holy land of ginurvega or something cant remember). I cant say i like that game yet(to become a fan) but it certainly is interesting to play. 1 thing i hate is Vaan.....his skills are ok but i absolutely hate that hair style....i prefer his bro...plus he is trying to sneak into the princess's heart oh i hate that guy arrrrr. err sorry a bit emo there lol so how things go on your side? my chars are lvl 40++ but i only use 3 characters vaan fran and basch. The other chars became my experiment chars haha.

Wow, you're intense :o But yea I guess I have to agree with vaans hair, his brother looked more cooler. Since I just bought this game this past tuesday, I'm only at lvl 7...i think, and I just beat those 3 or 4 flans in the waterway. But at any rate, I will accomplish more tonight XD

Quote by RaiMinakami18FFXII huh....

I don't like that game at all....

I'd rather play FFX rather than FFXII

May i ask if you have even played FFXII? Im just wondering, and im not saying ffx is bad, its actually one of my favs; however, I'm not sure you can conclude that ffx is better if you havent even taken a look at ffxII. But, anyways, so far it seems that everybody above do not have an opportunity to try the game until spring. That is unfortunate, but for the time being, is there anybody that has a copy and would like to share their 2 cents?

f

Well, as most of you may all know, the much anticipated final fantasy XII has been released only a day ago. So, I am wondering if anyone around here has bought the game yet? If so, what do you about the game--price, version (speacial or normal), graphics, voice, story, and so on. So far I'm about 6 hours into, and it has surpassed my expectations. This is by far the best final fantasy since X (or some would say VII). Well, thats my thought so far, what about you?

f

I still have my dreamcast when I want to play my 2d fighter games! Its still the best when I want to play my marvel vs capcom 2 and street fighter 3rd strike.

Just wondering if anyone else out there has been reading Range Murata's new manga series. Its an amazing compilation of small comic storylines by Range Murata and other world-renowed artists. I actually came across it on campus at my school where they were having a mini-convention--mainly selling imported stuff from japan--and I came across this series, and the illustrations are just stunning! A little expensive, but well worth it. So far there are 2 volumes released and the 3rd one, I believe will come out in November. But anyways, I really recommend it if your a Range Murata fan; It really is something to have on your bookshelves if your a reader. Well, again, has anyone else heard of this new and unique manga series?

btw, heres a link to the publisher site if you want see what its all about:

Thank you for your hard work, Fluke, superb job with the layout and everything else! I hope Haruhiism doesn't go away anytime soon. Maybe if a second season comes anytime soon, things wil liven up.

Quote by joycevSadly, I've never had bubble tea before, but from the sound of it, it must be good. I'll definately have to try it sometime! XD
(not to sound dumb but...) Does it really taste like tea, or is it more fruity? o.O''

If you haven't tried bubble tea, then you're missing out! There are a variety of types: Some have tea flavor while most are fruit---akin to slushies but with little marshmellow balls at the bottom of the drink. Personally, my favorite so far are: Taro, mango, and strawberry.

f

I like the colors on your userpage, they're really fresh and just fits with everything on your page......(and wow honestly, those comments from xandman.....such arrogance!...Well at least he's muted now lol)

f

I'm going to have to go with mac's on this one. I've grown up using a mac...so once a mac user always a mac user. But I have tried working around PC before, but I just can't get used to it lol.

f

I like all types of music but lately it has been rock. And to quickly give some names: Boom Boom Satellites, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, red hot chili peppers, mobile and hmmmmm...Hikaru Utada.

This anime is really a rare and unique find. At first when I saw it I immediately discovered that this anime was going to be one of my favourite's. Since I'm a college student, all the character's pertained to me and I would have to say takemoto-kun would mostly resemble me lol. I think takemoto-kun and Morita-san are my favourite characters. This anime is one of the funniest anime I've ever seen. So far I'm on episode 19, they're kinda hard to find :\

f

I struggle with english  I don't know why but essay's just get to me. But I'm trying to overcome it and even make it my strength, because college is not a place to joke around ^_^'

f

Chocolate soy milk for me! :nya:

f

Nothing beats street fighter when it comes to 2d fighting games. It's a classic and still retains it popularity up to this day. Although, when I go to the arcade's I still get my butt wooped

f

Well I usually have eggs..(scrambled that is ;) ).. and coffee! Can't go wrong with that :D

f

Oh Yea! I love daft punk! I have all their albums, of coarse including the interstella 5555 DVD which comes with the daft club album, a really great mix of some of their songs. I just love the consecutive music videos they have for each song! It's definately a good buy :D

f

I concur with everything that devildue has so brilliantly eloborated on. For me, I as well listen to j-rock/pop and anime themes and I don't understand the lyrics. I tend to listen to the music more than the words but I am also the kind of person that listens to like almost everything. Lyrics that I don't understand or do understand, as long as it sounds good it's going in my ipod :D

f

Green tea all the way! Whoooooooooo :D

f

Well I have not heard of this anime before but nevertheless this is quite an impressive OP. Great job man! Thanks for your hard work :D
